ABOUT COUPLES THERAPY

Couples Therapy with me is a three-way collaboration in which we explore what is going on for each of you within the relationship and how your life experiences may have influenced how you 'do' relationships. This therapeutic process has the potential to be incredibly transformative for the individuals as well as for the relationship. The opportunity to communicate in this space can be liberating and lead to greater self-awareness, clearer goals within the relationship - and positive change.

FOR EVERY TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP AT ANY STAGE

Couples Therapy can be for any stage in a relationship. Seeking support opens doors to change and offers hope for the future.

Your relationship could be in conflict with specific issues such as:

  • bereavement

  • constant arguing and friction

  • fertility issues

  • financial conflict

  • impact of one partner being neurodivergent

  • infidelity

  • overworking / work stress / burn-out

  • parenting disagreements

  • sexual or intimacy difficulties

 â€‹

It might be that your relationship is going well but you feel you would like to explore how to improve your general communication and learn good relationship habits...

It may be that you are about to embark on a new phase of life, such as becoming parents or a career shift and you want to explore how best to navigate it together...

It could be that you are in the process of separation or divorce and you want support to find an amicable and kind way through the experience...

I look forward to working with you.

THE
FIRST
STEP
Couples Therapy begins with a free online Intro Call, which is an opportunity for us to meet each other and for you to ask any questions you may have. If you would then like to work with me, I will send you an Assessment Questionnaire, which is to be completed individually and returned to me before our first session. We will then discuss your Assessments together during our first session, as well as the goals that you each have for your relationship and for therapy.
